Now we design the kitchen around you — layout, custom cabinetry, countertops, appliances, lighting, and finishes. You stay in the driver's seat on every choice. We're not locked to one cabinet line, so you're never boxed into a brand you didn't choose. Permitting and city approvals
This is where local experience pays for itself. There's no single South Bay building department — each city runs its own portal, fees, and plan-check timeline. We pull the permits, submit the plans, and manage the corrections in your city: Torrance's fully digital plan check and Zoning Clearance, El Segundo's EZ Permit Hub, Redondo's and Hermosa's own coastal permits. We check whether your specific parcel triggers a coastal development permit — most interior kitchen remodels are exempt, and we'll tell you plainly if yours isn't. Build
Demolition, then the build — and this is where home protection matters. We set up dust containment before the first cabinet comes out: zip walls, floor protection, and taped-off paths, because you shouldn't be breathing construction dust for six weeks, especially in older South Bay homes.
